Three of the things I love in life are friends (and family of course), wine and art.

I enjoy the company of my friends, I love drinking wine, red wine in particular and art is the only qualification I left school with and now, in my forties, I am trying to become an artist.

I am not sure how you define an ‘artist’, and I am not totally sure what I mean when I say I want to become one. I think I am doing it more for my own benefit than with the aim of becoming a commercially successful artist, but to have people buying your art must feel like a great compliment.

So this blog is really just to record that journey, mainly for my own benefit, so I have a record to look back on but you are more than welcome to read it yourself.
